Shiney Ahuja’s advocate - advocate Shrikant Shivde on Tuesday gave a new aberration to the case claiming that the victim belongs to a lower caste, which is “aggressive” in nature.
During a hearing, contented that Shiney hails from a “respectable” ancestors and was abominably active in the case.
Expounding on the adaptation of “consensual
sex”, Shivde argued that if Ahuja had approved to abduction the victim, she could accept “definitely” resisted. “She belongs to a lower caste, which is advancing by nature, and she wouldn’t accept submitted herself so easily. They are accepted for getting aggressive,” Shivde said.
“Rape cases can be calmly concocted. It’s harder to prove them and even harder to defend. Prima facie, the case has become a little doubtful. Why didn’t the victim try to run from the abomination site, if she had not relented to his animal advances,” Shivde asked.
