"I accustomed several calls from several producers (post 'Dostana')... But anybody in the industry knows my adherence to Karan is too strong. No bulk of money or acclaim can buy that," Mansukhani told IANS in an e-mail interview.
"Karan gave me abandon to accomplish the blur I wanted... with no pressures of budgets and bazaar expectations and for that I'm consistently grateful," he added.
Mansukhani affairs to stick with the 37-year-old filmmaker.
"It's been 12 years in films now... and all those years accept been spent in one institution, in one ancestors - the Johars. And they?ve consistently accomplished me to dream big. And I have.
"But what surprises me every now and again is Karan. He seems to accept bigger dreams for me than I accept for myself. So I achievement both our dreams appear true... and we can abide to accomplish films calm till our acumen remains," said Mansukhani, who started his career as an abettor administrator to Karan for "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" (1998).
In "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" (2001) and "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" (2006) Mashukhani formed as aboriginal abettor director. He credits the success of his absurd hit to Karan.

"He knows his job and added generally than not, he knows added people's jobs as well... but just like his ancestor (Yash), he never blames, yells or puts anyone down. No amount how abounding mistakes one makes, he consistently corrects them and pushes one further..."
