Actor Sonam Kapoor is a voracious reader. And while she stays up reading all night, she spends her morning catching her 300 winks. “Insomnia! reading books isn’t helping either. It is just making me think more,” says Kapoor.

While rummaging through her library, she got nostalgic over her
score

of books. “Just found an old copy of A Fine Balance in my book shelf, it took me back five years ago when I bought it for my self at the Strand Book Fair along with a book of Henri Cartier Bresson’s works,” says Kapoor.

SonamShe added, “I love buying books at the fair. Real books still somehow beat the Kindle and iPad for me.” Kapoor also listed Rohinton Mistry, Chitra Banerjee, Jhumpa Lahiri, Vikram Seth, Salman Rushdie and Amitav Ghosh as her favourite Indian authors. “I have a signed copy of Amitav Ghosh’s Sea of Poppies and met Salman Rushdie once and was completely tongue tied,” says Kapoor.
