Mumbai, July 22 -- Morning my mushy mushroom quiches! How goes it with you today? Blame it on the be-imaan mausam that I'm down with a cold and cough. But before I go for my steam, let me get done with your dose of daily goss. Read on dahlings...
Achha listen, I must start the day with the Bachchans. Reason: because it was here that you had read about how Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan couldn't attend the screening of Udaan while they were at the Cannes International Film Festival earlier this year. So, it's all the more important for me to tell you that they finally had a dekko of the much-acclaimed movie the other evening.
Seems like it was Amitabh Bachchan's khwaish, as he tweeted about how he keen he was to see the film. Bas, aur kya? Producers Sanjay Singh and Anurag Kashyap and director Vikramaditya Motwane arranged a special screening for the Bachchan family at Pixion in Bandra on Monday evening.
My jasoos from Juhu tells me that the entire Bachchan khandaan - Amitji, Jayaji, Abhi and Ash - loved the film and congratulated the team for their success.
That's not all, Big B also went on to blog about it and how he and Jayaji discussed it at length later at home. That's not all. Suna hai, the Udaan producers and director expressed the wish to work with the Bachchans, saying that no career in the industry is complete without having worked with any of the actors from the B parivaar.
Now, only time will tell whether this wish comes true. Hai na?
