Mumbai, Aug. 4 -- Now Madhu my Mottu Maid wants me to hear how glad Shahid Kapoor is to be back in Mumbai. Seems the actor was homesick and tired of shooting in Edinburgh for his father, Pankaj Kapoor's directorial debut, Mausam.
She tells me that Shahid was very enthusiastic to shoot for the commercial of the shampoo he endorses and couldn't contain his joy.
So much so that he was telling everyone he met that he missed every aspect of Mumbai; from the rains to the khaana-peena to working in the city's studios, I'm told.
However, the actor is also aware that his current joy won't last all that long. Kyun? Kyunki he will fly off to another location abroad for the next spell of Mausam... since the story moves across all the seasons in as many locations. That's all right Mottu, now go and get my cappuccino quick, I fire her.
