Mumbai, May 21 -- Good morning my baked almond biscuits! It's another sultry summer morning and I'm waiting for a dear saheli to fly in from Goa. Seems she's tired of the heat and the beaches, just like I am tired of waiting for Vijjy to come back from his picnic in Switzerland.
While I wait for both these dearies, you guys can relish some peppered nuggets straight from Bollywood's rasoi!
I'm kicking off with a piece of information on my darlingest Salman Khan. The often-shirtless actor is a favourite with the officials at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in London. My birdy from Bandra chirps that since his statue is the most photographed, even though the models of Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan's are in the vicinity too, the museum wants him to visit again.
The first time that the officials zipped in town to take his measurement, Sallu kept them waiting till midnight. Then, after the job was done, he asked them about their plans. When told that they were going back to their hotel bed since they didn't know even a crow in Mumbai, he laughed and insisted they get a life. And whisked them to the nearest pub for an impromtu party, during which he even made their drinks.
Before flying back, he took all their phone numbers so they could keep in touch. And now, every time the Tussaud team is back to measure up any other B-town celeb, Sallu boy is buzzed. And it's party time again! Why am I not surprised to hear this? Simple, because I wouldn't have expected anything less from my Sallu!
