MUMBAI, Oct. 16 -- Author Anuja Chauhan of The Zoya Factor fame was in the city for the launch of her latest book called Battle For Bittora.

And none other than Saif Ali Khan, great-great-grand son of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, was present to do the honours at the event.

"I love to read. And from a film person's point of view I must say that it is so important to read books apart from just watching movies," says Khan.

When asked what he felt of Chauhan's writing, the actor, who has just signed the adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's Two States to be made by Siddharth Anand after duly buying the rights from the author, says, "Many Indian authors don't have a grasp over the English language, but Anuja is so comfortable with it; she writes perfectly,"

Adding to the deal with Two States, he says, "Yes, I will be working on that. But I am currently waiting to see the screenplay, only then will I decide what happens next." When asked who we can expect to see with him in the film, he says, "I don't know much as of now. The cast has not been decided upon as yet."

While Chauhan was the creative brain behind a lot of ad campaign one-liners like 'Yeh dil maange more' and 'Dillogical' among others, most remember her as the author of The Zoya Factor, that was picked up by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment with the intention of adapting it into a film over two years ago. "It's been two years already, I don't really know what is happening with the book," says Chauhan, when asked about the film's status.

"They have all of three years to convert it into a film, so they have a year left. Let's see what happens." When asked whether she had written this book, keeping the chance of an film adaptation in mind, she refused to comment.
