Mumbai, Sept. 3 -- Ek minute... My buzzing kaaliberry is demanding immediate attention now. Turns out it's a trade types khabru claiming to know why Ranvir Shorey is not featuring in the sequel to Bheja Fry. Nah, it has nothing to do with his reported September 3 wedding plans with Konkona Sen Sharma...
but the reasons are strictly financial.
Apparently, when director Sagar Bellary offered Shorey a role in Bheja Fry 2, the actor had just one demand: that he be paid just as much as co-actor Vinay Pathak. Never mind if Shorey had a much smaller role than Pathak, who has a more author-backed role in both the movies. Shorey is believed to have told Bellary point blank that he wouldn't take a penny less than Pathak. The nirdeshak simply told him, 'thanks, but no thanks.' Why am I not surprised? But then, such is life dearies.
