Mumbai, April 8 -- Actress Mallika Sherawat has been issued a bailable warrant by the Maharastra court for "obscene dance performances." The magistrate of Pandharkawda court in Yavatmal district, issued a bailable warrant of Rs 15,000 and has asked the actress to appear in court before April 16.
The complaint was first made in April last year, but her lawyer moved an application to grant her time. Meanwhile, Mallika has claimed on Twitter that she has been approached by the United Nations to become an ambassador for them.
