Mumbai, July 24 -- Talking of Salman Khan's self-confessed kanjoosi, looks like it's not limited to paying royalty. The actor, known to be magnanimous, seems to be more in control of his purse of late.

Proof is that he didn't send a gift or flowers to Katrina Kaif on her janamdin, that went by some days ago.

All he did was send her a tweet, wishing her a very happy birthday, reveals my birdy. So what if she's away in Spain, shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara?

Not that Kat missed receiving a tohfa from Sallu. After bringing in her birthday with co-stars Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol, Kat flew to London to spend her day with her family.

Suna hai, the Kaif parivaar had a surprise in store, replete with a cake, flowers... and a reservation at one of her favourite dining places. Needless to say, Kat was thrilled to be with her family and returned to Spain rejuvenated. Blissola!
