Mumbai, Oct. 17 -- Actor John Abraham, who has been sentenced to 15 days of simple imprisonment in a 2006 rash driving case, says he will appeal against the verdict. "I am a law abiding citizen. I will go to every length to have it appealed," says John, adding, "I am a public figure and I have a large youth following who look up to me.
I don't want them to feel that when wronged, we do not fight for what is right," says Abraham, whose bike had skid and knocked down two people. He then took the injured to the hospital.
