New Delhi, July 11 -- Imran Khan has every intention of marrying fiancee Avantika Malik but, contrary to the media reports, the couple hasn't set a date yet. At the moment, a January wedding seems unlikely. The only thing he's sure of is that the wedding will not happen this year.
"My schedule is hectic. A few big announcements are expected and once I have confirmed my dates for these projects, I will be in a better position to plan my wedding day," he says.
Since his engagement was an impromptu affair, Khan wants to ensure he is there "before, after and, of course, during the wedding". If his work permits, he'd even like a two-month break: "I want to do it properly, not just grab three days between shoots."
The actor, who will attend the FIFA World Cup final in South Africa tonight, says, "Things are so tight that I haven't been able to sit down and plan my marriage. It's only the media that is in a rush. First, they were in a hurry to get me engaged; now, they are in a hurry to marry me off. Then, they will want me to have a child, then another, and before you know it, they would have turned me into a grandfather."
