Mumbai, April 16 -- Actor Shahid Kapoor thinks his new bearded look 'suits' him. Shahid, who was in Delhi to promote his upcoming film, Paathshaala, visited his alma mater, Gyan Bharti School, lastWednesday.

Asked why he sported a jacket on a hot summer day, the actor said, "It is okay, I'm comfortable."

Talking about his bearded look, he explained, "This is the look I will be sporting for my dad's (Pankaj Kapoor) soon-to-go-on-the-floors film, Mausam. Yes, I am trying to look different in every film. I wanted to try something new."

On why his Paathshaala co-star, Ayesha Takia, was not part of the promotional activities, Shahid said, "We did not want to promote the film as a love story, but as an educational film. Perhaps that's why."
