Turns out to be sandesha from an informer telling me that Dia Mirza was feeling rather disconnected for a couple of days until the weekend. Reason: her mobile had crashed and consequently, the actress had lost important data stored in it.
So apni Ms Mirza didn't know which calls to answer and which to ignore, says my source, adding that she decided to divert all incoming calls to her landline after it stopped working.
But that proved to be more cumbersome, I'm informed, she had no option but to sit by her phone the rest of the day and answer every call. It was only when she had time off during the weekend to buy a new handset and store the data in it, that she was relieved. Thank God for small mercies, I tell you.
