New Delhi, June 18 -- In the last couple of months, National Award-winning actor Arjun Rampal has reportedly been under the scanner for the 55 after-parties and fashion shows his event management company, Chasing Ganesha, organised during the 45 days of the Indian Premier League.

The parties invited sharp criticism from the BCCI with even Team India's captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, blaming them for their poor performance in the T20 World Cup.

Asked if he and his company will be a part of the cricketing razzmatazz in 2011, Rampal replies, "I have no idea. It's something no one knows till IPL season four gets underway next year."

The actor is quick to jump to the defence of the parties, too. "The evening's entertainment was appreciated by a lot of people and I hope they will continue to feature. Yeah, the bashes came under fire from certain sections but that is inevitable since anything new is always condemned.

Personally, I think what Lalit (Modi, former IPL Commissioner) has done for the IPL is fantastic. And, they should get him back as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, the actor's lounge bar has almost completed a year's run in Delhi. He plans to open a Lap in Mumbai, too, and is on the lookout for prime real estate. He's also in talks with Sky Bar, voted as one of the "most rocking nightspots in the world" by Worldsbestbars.com, to take the bar to Beirut.

"There's a lot of excitement in the Lebanon capital Beirut and I'll be going there for a recce in July-August. Subsequently, I want to take Lap to three of my favourite cities in the world: London, New York and Paris," informs Rampal.

Talking about his dream project, he says that the idea of opening the hot spot in the Capital was to create a safe place for women to enjoy an evening out. Encouraged by its success in Delhi, Rampal, whose recent release Raajneeti has added considerably to his female fan following, would now like to extend the hospitality to women across the globe.
