Anil's strategy for Sonam..

Mumbai, June 7 -- Seems as if Anil Kapoor is planning his daughter Sonam's career just the way his brother Boneyji strategised for him years ago. That's what Rapchik Rajni has announced, sauntering into my penthouse. Sounds interesting, tell me more, I order.

Rajni goes on to say that even though his production Aisha, featuring Sonam and Abhay Deol, wrapped up first, Anilji always wanted Karan Johar's I Hate Luv Storys to be his beti's next release.

Reason: It's a Dharma Productions venture and they will market and promote the film aggressively to ensure it opens with reasonably good collections. So?

So, I'm told that the success of the romantic film, that also toplines Imran Khan, will help Aisha's prospects at the box-office. Rajni explains that the Kapoor home-production is a different, heroine-centric movie.

And since Sonam hasn't had a great run at the ticket-windows, papa Anil feels that the romantic film's commercial performance will boost his film for Sonam. Hmm, yeh baat hai!
