Mumbai, April 25 -- The launch of Ameesha Patel Productions saw a good turnout from the film fraternity, but the big names were conspicuous by their abscence.

The actor stood out in her bright red, floor-length gown as she posed for pictures with Kunal Goomer, her partner in the new venture.

Ameesha's close friend Maanyata Dutt came minus hubby Sanjay.

A host of directors, including Rakesh Roshan, David Dhawan, Imtiaz Ali, Madhur Bhandarkar, Farhan Akhtar, Punit Malhotra and Shirish Kunder were spotted. Singer Adnan Sami made an appearance along with wife Roya Faryabi. Jackie Shroff was seen at a party after a long time.
