Mumbai, Sept. 3 -- Although it was speculation so far, Ali Zafar confirmed his role in Yash Raj's next on Twitter yesterday. The singer-actor, whose debut film, Tere Bin Laden, became one of the year's biggest hits, wrote on his microblogging site, "Next film under Yash Raj banner with Katrina (Kaif) and Imran (Khan).

Director shares my name. Should be fun. Looking forward."

The film is to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who has been an assistant director with Yash Raj films for quite a few years now. He also worked on Badmaash Company, New York (2009), Tashan (2008) and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (2007). The part being played by Zafar, a well known musician from Pakistan, was earlier offered to Riteish Deshmukh
