Mumbai, May 28 -- At long last... here comes Madhu my Mottu Maid with my lemon iced tea. And now she's claiming that I won't believe what caused the break in the shooting of Rohan Sippy's next, Dum Maaro Dum. Nah, Abhishek Bachchan or south-side star Rana Duggabatti have nothing to do with it either.
Turns out that the executive producer, Sheikh Gulam Hussain, who's also acting in the movie, suffered an injury during the Goa schedule.
Hua yeh ki director Sippy was filming a chase sequence with Bipasha Basu, and Hussain, who was hot on her heels, slipped and fell, with all his weight on his arm. The bechara EP-cum-character actor cried in pain, but Abhi, Bips and Sippy felt that he was just joking, informs Mottu.
It was only after 15 odd minutes when Hussain couldn't get up that the crew realised he was really injured, and rushed him to the hospital. That's where they learnt that he had suffered a fracture and it's been a month since his arm is in plaster. Mots tells me that the Dum Maaro Dum shoot will resume soon next month. Sigh!
