The Awards season has begun in full swing and this time, apart from keenly following the results of awards such as Screen Awards, Stardust Awards and the recently held Filmfare Awards, Indians world over have even been actively keeping track of popular international awards such as the Golden Globes, the BAFTAs and of course the Big Daddy of them all- the Oscars.
The reason for this is Danny Boyle's much talked about Slumdog Millionaire which has been pocketing awards by the dozen. The film, which stars a principal Indian star cast and is majorly shot in Mumbai, has been the toast of the nation and the world courtesy its winning streak at award function. The west has now started recognizing our pool of talent after Indians like A.R.Rahman, Gulzar and Resul Pookutty bagged the Oscars.
Keeping this very situation in mind, this artist paints a funny picture of a bunch of hard-nosed goras eagerly following the Filmfare awards and wondering if they would get to see anyone from Hollywood bag a Filmfare just like the way our 3 musketeers (A.R.Rahman, Gulzar and Resul Pookutty) took home the Oscars.
